I needed to hear this today. Reading it feels like all the answers to my questions are here. In this moment of rapid change, as the world we knew is collapsing, we can stay together, pray together, and nourish each other’s hearts through study and love. Thank you Swami.
This elementary principle when applicable in a religious society has a content. The shastra. If exposed systematically, in a progressive order like in Bhagavatam, Brs or Sat Sandharba, it is beneficial. Otherwise randomly teached, hidden in compulsory "preaching" sessions like the daily morning talk shows, most of the sitted attendents are wading in an amount of stories and informations hard to sort out.
How to explain the fast drifting of a mission which choose numbers instead of consistency and quality? Precisely by following the first injunction, to listen the tattva darshina, the qualified teacher who is the follower of a jñana-vijñana lineage
This is the main flaw of such society. Rare is the one who can guide the closely sitted in the extremely complex significance of the shastra. And my experience took 45 years to understand this crucial point. No amount of learned most eloquent and flowery waffles can disguise the missing but badly needed authentic scholarship of any teacher.
Hare Kṛṣṇa Mahārāja, thank you for the reminder that success in spiritual life comes from knowing how to associate with the great souls that we may encounter.
We may be in their vicinity, but we need to learn how to sit close by.
Sometimes it feels best to 'sit' a bit aways (with my camera off) and listen (while doing chores at home). The sound vibrations still hit my spirit and awaken my true nature - 3 birds with 1 stone! Our collective yogic siddhis allow us to be in more than one place at one time - I celebrate this capability.
Hare Krishna. 🙏 How beautiful. Collectively we can move forward together and walk alongside each other, nourishing, loving, growing and healing together to support generations to come. This is amazing. Thankyou for sharing.🙏
Great interpretation and great explanation. Thank you very much Maharaj for this enlightening message. It captures my wish - the sons and the daughters in law should come and sit close by for such transfer of whatever small we have learned from Srila Prabhupada...but they ain't got no time!!

This is breathtakingly beautiful!
It brought to my mind this verse from Rumi:
“At the end of my life, with just one breath left, if you come, I’ll sit up and sing.”
The mystical encounter of hearts , even at the very end of life ; awakening Love,
and bestowing Grace.
May it be .
what a living guru is in the context of vani and vapu, because A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami says that he will live forever in his books.

Thank you Maharaj for this. We have been contemplating on this.

We could wonder why they are not attracted by your "preaching". Teaching is the essence.
"oṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ" Hare Krsna (my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet Maharaja)
